ORDERS
Issues in Society books can be purchased direct from The Spinney Press (via e-mail, phone, fax or post) or through educational booksellers and library suppliers in Australia and New Zealand.
Issues in Society books may be purchased individually, in bulk or in the form of a subscription.
If ordering your books within Australia, please include postage and handling ($5.50 including GST for 1-2 books, $8.80 including GST for 3+ books), and allow 7 days for delivery by Australia Post.
All orders within Australia are On Approval for 14 days, with the exception of orders made by individuals (pre-payment required), pre-paid orders and Subscriptions.
If you are an individual, pre-payment is required with all orders (including postage and handling).
If ordering your books from outside Australia, please contact The Spinney Press for tax-free prices and postage rates. Pre-payment is required for all overseas orders.
SUBSCRIPTIONS and STANDING ORDERS
The Spinney Press offers two options to receive all ongoing Issues
in Society titles:
STANDING
ORDERS
Customers who have a Standing Order receive 18 titles a year (6 new titles in January, April and August) on an ongoing basis — this service continues to include a postage and handling charge, and all books supplied are still available On Approval for 14 days. You may cancel your Standing Order at any time under no obligation.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Pre-pay for a year’s worth of new releases — receive 18 books a year (6 new titles in January, April and August) — and get all three deliveries post-free. Firm orders only. A Subscription may start at any time and is valid for one year and 18 different Issues in Society titles.
Cost for a single Subscription (including GST): 18 new titles @ 1 copy each = $359.10
Contact The Spinney Press for a Subscription tax invoice to be issued to you — please specify from which Volume Number you would like your Subscription to start and how many of each title you require.
Your Subscription can start at any time, however must be for one year’s worth of new titles (i.e. 6 new titles sent to you 3 times within a one year period).
The benefits of a Subscription include:
- Automatic receipt of new titles without the recurring need for processing orders and payments, thereby getting your new releases quicker, cheaper and more conveniently.
- Advance notification by mail of impending expiry of your subscription.
- A cost saving of $26.40 in postage and handling per year.
- A guarantee of receiving your new books at a fixed price exempt from any price rises which may occur during the subscription period.
